2010 GMC Sierra 1500

New for 2010, the 3.08 axle ratio and fuel saver mode is standard with 5.3L V-8 for improved fuel economy; side curtain airbags and seat-mounted side airbags are now standard on all 1500 models; USB connectivity is in the center console, enabling stored audio files to play through the audio system and battery charging for some handheld devices.

Additionally for the 2010 model year The GMC Sierra has a revised interior door trim; rearview camera is available on more models; StabiliTrak electronic control system is now standard on all 1500 models; and GMC offers two new exterior colors: Storm Gray Metallic and Sheer Silver Metallic.

Light-duty engine offerings include: 4.3L V-6, rated at 195 hp and 260 lb.-ft. of torque; 4.8L V-8 rated at 295 hp and 305 lb.-ft. of torque; 5.3L FlexFuel V-8 rated at 320 hp and 340 lb.-ft. of torque; 6.0L V-8 rated at 367 hp and 375 lb.-ft. of torque.

The six-speed automatic transmission helps the Sierra achieve better fuel efficiency on the highway through lower cruising rpm with less fuel being used with the lower engine speed. The reduced engine speed also enhances the interior's quietness.
