Several significant enhancements have been made for 2020, including the addition of new QX50 SENSORY and QX50 AUTOGRAPH grade levels, standard Apple CarPlay and Android Auto and a new-generation infotainment system with dual HD displays. The QX50's advanced VC-Turbo engine is the world's first production variable compression ratio engine, transforming on demand. A breakthrough in combustion engine design, the 2.0-liter VC-Turbo engine adjusts its compression ratio to optimize power and efficiency. It combines the power of a 2.0-liter turbocharged gasoline engine with the torque and efficiency of a four-cylinder diesel engine. The engine delivers 268 horsepower at 5,600 rpm and 280 lb-ft of torque at 4,400 rpm.
